Teaching is learning

For a long time I have been contemplating about creating a blog where I can share my teaching experiences and real Class room situations.

A lot of books have been written on Education and Parenting and a lot of literature is available, but effective teaching is learning from experiences and application of this learning.In a Class room situation we expect the children to be able to apply their learning to real life situations.After years of experience as teachers are we able to learn from our experiences and apply this to our teaching methods.Children are like clean slates and open to learning.When we enter Classrooms are we like children open to learning and growing along with our children?
